About VdH Music Manager

My name is Saskia van den Heykant. I look after the business interests of artists and bands. I work as a Music Manager / Artist Manager, Booking Agent & Tour Manager (for artists and bands directly or on behalf of / in collaboration with other organisations). I work for Dutch artists and international artists who (want to) tour in the Netherlands and Belgium. I am also involved with the Popronde in Breda and work for Popspot Brabant as a workshop coach (Popspot is a development programme for young, talented musicians).

Biography

My passion for music started at the age of 13 after a Queen concert. Since then, I have always been active in music, from singing in a choir and performing in amateur musicals to playing in a drum band. After a chance encounter with an artist in a train in Scotland, I discovered my passion for music management and have since turned my hobby into my job. As music manager, I ensure that artists can concentrate on their music while I take care of the business side. My accumulated network, work experience and various educations help with this. Besides my work as music manager, I also work as a lawyer.
