October 27th, 2023: Release single "Time to Get it Right"

The song's lyrics raise questions about current attitudes and are quite different to what Michael usually writes about. The title says it all: 'Time to Get It Right'. Michael sings: “There‘s a chance to part from the way we were, a chance to change, a chance to learn” and “If we hope to leave behind a better world, we need to make a difference now”. The timely, heartfelt words are enhanced by a catchy melody you’ll be sure to be humming long after it’s done! 'Time to Get it Right' is released on October 27^th, 2023 as a single. August 18th, 2023: Release single "Valentine"

Singer-songwriter Michael Antony Austin is known for his combination of up-tempo Rock songs and sensitive ballads with a winsome Country flavour. "Valentine" is a rocking Country tune and a real ‘foot tapper`- you might find it hard to keep still! On August 18th, 2023, "Valentine" was released as a single. May 12th, 2023: Release single "Turn Around and Kiss Me"

Michael's second single “Turn Around And Kiss Me” is a follow up to the single “The Collier Lad’s Dream” and was released on May 12^th, 2023. Both tracks are taken from Michael’s current album “It’s Not The Years… It’s The Mileage”. “Turn Around and Kiss Me” is a beautiful power ballad in the style of artists such as Bryan Adams and Aerosmith. One of the more personal songs on the album, because it’s partly biographical – albeit with plenty of poetic license! Listen to the single on Spotify and watch the music video on YouTube. January 26th, 2023: Release single "The Collier Lad's Dream"

The first single from his latest album, "It's Not The Years... It's The Mileage" has been released on January 26th, 2023. The song "The Collier Lad's Dream" is essentially about being free and doing what makes you happy, and Michael is keen to share that message with the audience. The lyrics tell the story of a boy ('lad') who works in a coal mine at the turn of the century. Inspired by the adventure stories he hears, he dreams of a life at sea where he can be free from the dirt and toil in the cold, dark mine....
